"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

RE: DIPLOMATIC DELIVERY OF YOUR CONSIGNMENT

Attn: Consignor.

Following the resolution of the board to decongest the warehouse before the end of this month as regularly done every year to create space in the warehouse for the coming year, all abandoned parcels, consignments and Valuables are on the go. During the process of REVIEW, I found a consignment designated to you. I therefore want to let you know of my concluded arrangement to ship your consignment/funds to your country. for the security of the consignment I  made sure diplomatic Airlifting service is used and it is lifted before contacting you.

I found out that this consignment has been lying here because you could not settle cost of shipment. That is why I decided to use my Position as the Shipping officer in charge of this Organization to convey this consignment to your Country. (In Our Warehouse there are lots of abandoned consignments and Valuables kept at the Orders of the Government)

Some beneficiaries whom we were able to locate have been informed and some effected consignments have left the country two days ago en-route countries: SPAIN /NETHER LAND/MALAYSIA/SAUDI ARABIA/U.A.E/EGYPT/INDIA/U.S.A/CANADA AND BRAZIL. It's a metal box, Silver in color and weighing of about 75kg, The Content of the Trunk Box was declared PERSONAL EFFECTS AND FAMILY VALUABLES FOR SECURITY REASON.

Acknowledge the receipt of this e-mail immediately so that I can provide more details of the Company in Charge in your country to enable you confirm when your consignment will arrive.

I choose to do this for you because you may have paid a lot of money before abandoning this consignment and I believe you will compensate me when you receive the consignment.

Note: I know the content of the trunk Box is funds because I am the shipping officer and also in charge of the strong room where valuable items are kept so I took very good observation of the consignment. That is why I decided to get involved. You must also know that this arrangement does not involve any of the people you were dealing with in the past because this consignment was abandoned and hence surrendered to the Government, hence my involvement.
