"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I have in my possession drafted cheque of (US$2.5 Million) TWO MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLERS ONLY,endorsed on your name, but presently we are having conference at the Cathedral premesis, therefore i can not have adquate time to go and post the cheque to you by courrier services.

i want you to reconfirm the recieving mailing address. As the cheque will be posted by DHL, and i will like you to send to me a sum of US$95 which i will use and send the cheque to you by DHL and your contact information's were you live and were the cheque will post and he will come to your door in your country,so that it will be eaiser for me to post the cheque by DHL or any reliable courrier services as the case may be.
