"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Sir/Madam

Sir/Madam,

This is to inform you about my late
client Mr.Steve Moore .He and his family died in a ghastly auto
accident along Lagos/Shagamu expressway in 2008.I am his lawyers before
his death. His money ($27,000,000,000.00) at the bank is ready to be
released to next of kin on filing of claim application to the holding
bank.

I want to present you as the next of
kin for the claim since I have made several efforts to locate his other
relations without success. If you are willing to grant your permission
to facilitate the inheritance right of title in your favor, email us
and I shall give you more information.

Email Your names, Address, Telephone
Number. We hope to file claim application in your favor at the bank to
begin the claim process as soon as I get your permission to proceed.

I hope you will treat this as urgent.

Yours faithfully,

Barrister Ken Gani (Esq).
