"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

delivery of your Draft with this information below to avoid demurrage:

The only money you will send to the UPS COURIER to deliver your Draft direct
to your postal Address in your country is ($180.00) US Dollars only being
Safe Keeping fee of the Courier Company so far.

Contact Person: Dr.James Dickson

Finally, make sure that you reconfirm your POSTAL ADDRESS and DIRECT PHONE
NUMBER to them again to avoid any mistake on the Delivery and ask them to
give you the tracking number to enable you track your package over there and
know when it will get to your address. Let me repeat again, try to contact
them as soon as you receive this mail to avoid any further delay
and remember to pay them their Safe Keeping fee of $180.00 US Dollars for
their immediate action.

You should also let me know through email as soon as you receive your Bank
Draft.

God Bless You.
