"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

We need your assistance urgently,

We need you to stand as benefactor to little miss Shannon she is 11 years old, her entire family were engulfed in the recent earthquake in the Americas and she is currently in Shock due to her loss. Doctors say it will take a while before she can recover fully. Her fathers attorney contacted our organization concerning her fathers private fortune overseas amounting to millions of dollars. All legal documentation is ready and available and the transfer would be achieved legally and according to the international transfer laws. I can not disclose any further due to the level of scams on the internet. She made this decision under the supervision of volunteers from the Red Cross and her late fathers solicitors to donate some part of the money to other victims and she also interested in making a future for herself. We do need your assistance urgently because we cant get legally involved, Contact us via email and down load the attachment, on mary c.redcrossvolunteer.jane2@gmail.c

Best Regards

Mary little on behalf of
