"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Mr. Teddy Tao is the diplomatic courier official with courier company that assisted us in delivering the consignment of fund to your country through a special diplomatic channel, but he disappointed us out of greed as we initially agreed to compensate him 20% of the USD$20 Million contained in the consignment of money. On the arrival of the diplomat and our consignment of money, Mr. Teddy Tao declined from our initial agreement and demanded for 60% of the money, with the clear aim of exploiting us due to the compromising situation that we are faced with presently.

Consequently, I will need a reputable professional like you to assist us in developing our project as we intend to invest in Real Estate Development and on Agriculture, on resumption of this project, you will be our TRUSTEE for the role and assistance you will undertake as our portfolio manager.

Meanwhile, I will be sending my junior brother who is in school in Malaysia to be under your care until we resolve our problem with the authorities here which will permit me to travel down to your country and I this presume soon.

We will be very glad if you will take into consideration our urgent plea and respond as soon as possible.
