Subject: WE TRIED TRANSFERING YOUR FUND TODAY
ZENITH BANK PLC.
Plot 84, Ajose Adeogun Street, Victoria Island
Lagos, Nigeria.
Dear Customer,
We regret to inform you that we tried effecting the transfer of your fund thrice today but it returned back with an error signal. At first we assumed it to be a network default but after close checking, we were able to trace the fault to your RELEASE PIN CODE NUMBER.
Your RELEASE PIN CODE NUMBER which was activated last year for the purpose of securing your fund to avoid unauthorized wire or wire to a wrong account has EXPIRED. This release pin code number has only one year validity period in which it is expected that your fund would be transferred and whereby this is not the case for some reasons and the validity period expires; clients are expected to notify The Federal Equalization Control Department to Activate a new Release Pin Code Number before the Bank will be able to carry on with the wire transfer of your fund.
This Release Pin Code Number has been encrypted with your bank information in such a way that any click to wire the fund will head straight to your bank account; therefore diversion of fund or unauthorized change of clients/contractor bank account is impossible.
The expiration of your Release Pin Code Number has automatically trapped your fund within our system and transfer cannot be negotiated except The Federal Equalization Control Department are informed to De-activate the old Release Pin Code Number and Activate a new one.
Your fund was brought to us by a bullion van from the Central Bank of Nigeria for the purpose of wire to your account because the Central Bank of Nigeria (which is the highest bank and controls other banks in Nigeria) do not wire funds to individual or private owned account. They pay or receive money only from other banks both in and out of Nigeria. Our bank (being a commercial bank) has a 10 year contract with the Central Bank of Nigeria to assist them in wiring funds to private/individual owned bank account like yours and that was why it was brought to us.
Kindly and URGENTLY contact the office of The Federal Equalization Control Department instructing them to ACTIVATE a new Release Pin Code Number so that we will proceed with the wire of your fund tomorrow.
Their contact information is as follows;
DR. WILLIAM NEBU
DIRECTOR GENERAL,
FEDERAL EQUALIZATION AND EXCHANGE CONTROL DEPARTMENT
Address: Falomo Office Complex, Ikoyi-Lagos
Nigeria
Tel: 234 708 488 6094
Direct Email: feecd@hotmail.com
Do this urgently; the Federal Equalization Control Department will inform us as soon as the new PIN CODE has been activated so that we can proceed with the wire transfer of your fund to your account.
Yours Faithful,
Signed:- Mr. John Davis
Director
Remittance Department
