"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attention: Beneficiary,

On behalf of the ministry of aviation and the management of kotoka
international airport , we bring to your notification of your
merchandise(consignment trunk boxes) here at the Kotoka International
Airport bonded warehouses of the Airport's Authority under the Customs,
Excise and Preventive Services(CEPS)of the Airport

His Excellency President Atta Mills, has ordered that those whose
consignments are still being awaiting claims/clearance be notified of this
immediately, and delivery measures expedited. For those people who don’t
have any body to stand for them as a foreign beneficiary, we have been
mandated by the government to look for a reliable person to stand on their
behalf, this decision become imperative since most consignees don’t have
any reliable business partner abroad.

In addition to this, we are applying through this medium for your
co-operation and to secure an opportunity for investment. We have
substantial capital (i.e. US$55,00,000.00) realized from the excess of our
annual revenue in the 2007 fiscal year , it is my honor to notify any
serious investor of our enthusiasm to invest this money in a more
stable economy where the inflationary rate is less than 2% . Our area of
interest cut across oil, shipping or any other lucrative business venture
of which you are to advise and execute the said venture over there for the
mutual benefit for both your self and the Ghana airport authority.

Your able co-operation is needed as a foreign beneficiary, you are to
create ideas on how this money will be invested, and properly managed as
soon as the money is transferred into the account you shall provide.

Meanwhile, upon indication of your willingness to handle this transaction
I shall furnish you with the full detailed information, procedure involved
and mutually agrees on your percentage interest or share holding for
accepting to take up this responsibility.

You are to, by this notice forward all claim documents, and copy of your
passport including delivery address.

N/B: Claims are to be made within the stipulated 2 weeks deadline of
submission of final reports on claims by the Presidency to the House of
Parliament.
