"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dearest Friend,

I am Mr.Robert Graham, Bank Manager of Natwest Bank,135 Bishopsgate

London,EC2M 3UR 1AG UK. I have an urgent and very confidential business

proposal for you. On June, 2006, a Canadian Oil consultant/contractor with

the Royal Petroleum Company, Mr. Barry Kelly made a numbered time (Fixed)

Deposit for twelve calendar months, valued at US$6,500,000.00 (Six Million

Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) in my branch.

Upon maturity, I sent a routine notification to his forwarding address but

got no reply. After a month, we sent a reminder and finally we discovered

from his contract employers, the Royal Petroleum Company that Mr. Barry Kelly died from an automobile accident. On further investigation, I found out that he died without making a WILL to a benefactor to this said deposit, and all attempts to trace his next of kin was fruitless.

mode details and relevant documents that will help you understand this transaction. Please observe utmost confidentiality and be rest assure that this transaction would be most profitable for both of us.

Awaiting your urgent reply. You are strongly and strictly advice to my email: robertgraham70@aol.com for official records and confidential purpose.

Thanks and Regards,

Dr.Robert Graham.
