"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

With all due regards, I am Dr John Quansah , Controller General Kotoka
International Airport Delivery Unit, I wish to draw your attention of a
trunk box worth Funds worth million of America US Dollars in a trunk
box........in which i am mailing you with .

Your email address and your name was been pasted on these
consignments.The said trunk box was recovered from the warehouse
packaging room here in Kotoka International Airport Accra-Ghana .

But with my new posting as the head of the Airport Delivery Unit of the
Kotoka Int Airport i have set aside your trunk box to be delivered with
our scheduled delivery which will take effect from Wednesday 31st of
March, 2010 .

However the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) is expected to play a
pivotal role in these delivery Project,via British Airways,in which we
have signed a memorandum of understanding for uninterrupted delivery which
your consignments will be escorted by GCAA representative.

As a matter of fact,the official delivery requirements,to ensure your One
Trunk Box of consignment are properly delivered to your residence address
in your Country is to send full description of the below details

1, YOUR ACCEPTABLE DELIVERY ADDRESS ( with road map (Address) leading to
your declared residence/Home address ) .
2, DIRECT PHONE NUMBER.

Finally, You are required to send an official baggaging fees of ($300.00
) to ensure the safe delivery of your One Consignment Box as it will be
leaving with the next available flight .

Hope to receive a soft compensation from you upon receipt of your one
trunk box as soon as you receive it in your country.
