"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello, Sir

Permit me to inform you of my desire of going into business relationship with
you. I came across your profile and have decided to get in touch with you after
due considerations, to see if you can assist in this transaction. I can't
imagine how you will feel receiving a sudden letter from a country far away and
probably from someone you are not closely related with. But all the same, I
believe we do not need to be of blood relatives before we can establish a
cordial relationship,

My name is Hassan Idriss, a former personal security aid ( P.S.A ) to The Late
Prime Minister, Mr. Rafik Hariri of Lebanon, I am presently in London where I
was granted political asylum. I feel quite safe dealing with you in this
important business though, this medium (Internet) has been greatly abused, I
chose to reach you through it because it still remain the fastest medium of
communication. However, this correspondence is unofficial and private, and it
should be treated as such. At first I will like to assure you that this
transaction is 100% risk free to both parties.

Before his untimely
death on the February 14, 2005 (Mr. Rafik Hariri) as if he foresaw the looming
danger ahead of him, he has send me to deliver a certain consignment to London
which he declared as family valuables to avoid disclosing the actual content
for security reasons.Unfortunately, upon my safe arrival to London with the
luggage, I heard the news of his death through the international media and I
decided to deposit the consignment with a safe deposit finance firm here in London
for my future investment overseas, having succeeded in verifying that the
actual content in the consignment is USD$12,000,000.00 (TWELVE MILLION UNITED
STATE DOLLARS ONLY) as i know that i cannot return back to my country to avoid
facing any kind of  probe by the new Government.

I applied and was
granted political asylum by the British Government and in line with the British
rules and regulation, I am not allowed as a refugee to operate any bank account
or engage in any business within the country’s territory. Following my
investment restriction, I have decided to move this fund out of United Kingdom
using the assistance of some one like you who could provide a viable bank
account overseas where this fund can be transferred. I have agreed to offer you
30% of the total sum if you will assist me in moving this fund overseas,
especially in your country. After the successful transfer of the fund to your
account, I will join you in  your country for the disbursement of the fund
with you according to the percentage we have already agreed. Note that during
the process of this transaction, both parties will sign a memorandum of
agreement (MoU) which will bind us together and to enhance truth and trust.
Please, I urge you to keep this deal a top secret and confidential because of
the nature and the origin of this fund.

The late Prime Minister, Mr. Rafik Bahaa Edine Hariri (November 1, 1944 -
February 14, 2005), married to Nazek Audi Hariri,was a Lebanese self-made
billionaire and business tycoon, and was five times Prime Minister of Lebanon
(1992-1998 and 2000-2004) before his last resignation from office on October
20, 2004.The late Rafik Hariri died on February 14, 2005 when explosives
equivalent to 300 kg of C4 were detonated as his motorcade drove past the Saint
George Hotel in the Lebanese capital, for more information please log on to (www.rhariri.com).

If you are willing to
work with me, do respond to me with your information below:

1. YOUR FULL NAME AND ADDRESS

2. YOUR PRIVATE
TELEPHONE NUMBER FOR FASTER COMMUNICATION

3. YOUR OCCUPATION AND
MARITAL STATUS

As soon as I hear from
you, I will proceed and secure all the required documents in your name and

and release the consignment in your favor. Once again, thanks in anticipation
of your positive response.

Best Regards
