"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: This about my son, Jackson Please love and take care of him.

Dearest beloved,

Dearest beloved,

Please do not delete this letter or see it as scam mail because I am writing you

with tears in my eyes and I believe you will find out why I am writing after reading it.

My name is Doris Joy Bambang. I am a citizen of Port-au-Prince Haiti. I married to

Mr. James Bambang who worked in Haiti Consulate in London and died on

January 12, 2010, in the massive earthquake that struck Haiti, causing

catastrophic damage inside and around the capital city of Haiti.

We were supposed to travel to Haiti for New Year celebration, but my ill health

Condition could not permit me to travel with him, and I stayed back with our only

child and  he traveled alone.

Few days later the earthquake occurred and killed all our family members and

left me with a broken heart and worsening ill health.

I have been suffering from cancer of the breast and diabetes since 2005 which

also affected my hearing ability. The news about my husband's death worsened

my health and since then I have been in the hospital where I am writing you this letter.

Beloved, I am not writing you to tell you about my LIFE predicaments but my reason

for writing you is about my only son, Jackson. Jackson will face hardship in life if

nobody takes cares of him when I die. Two days ago I was told by my doctor that I

may not live longer than 7 weeks due to the damage cancer and diabetes have

caused in my body organs. I was very depressed after hearing the doctors and knowing that I will

die soon. Now, Jackson's future is my major problem because I do not have anybody

to take care of him when I die. I do not want Jackson to live in the orphanage as an orphan.

My doctor said that unless an emergency surgery is performed on time that I am

liable to die soon and the hospital management advises that I must sign a medical undertaken

before I undergo the surgery to save my life but I am very scared I might die during the operation

This why I am confiding in you and begging you to take my son and take care of him for

me as you own son before I undergo the surgical operation.

I am afraid to undergo the operation because I may not survive; I do not have relatives to

take care of him if I die. I can't trace my relatives because they all died in the earthquake.

I am beneficiary of my husband's estate and next of kin to his fixed deposit in the bank.

I believe the money my husband left money will be enough take care of Jackson's welfare.

I will give you all the details about to this Trust fund as my next of Kin if you accept to

take Jackson and raise him with love and care as your own son.

I beg you accept him with love and not because of the money which I propose offer to you.

I really need someone to take care of my son because I may not live to take care of him.

Please reply me as soon as you read this mail and let me know if you are willing to accept him.

Please reply me through my private mail box dorbam50@sbcglobal.net

God Bless you as you reply,

Yours Doris
