"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good day,

I am Denis Nabotha, the Son of late Michael Nabotha from Sierra Leone, the
source of your contact gave me the courage and confidence to rely on you. I
am writing to you in absolute confidence to seek your assistance in the
transfer of twelve million six hundred thousand united state dollars
(US$13,600,000) only to your bank account pending my arrival to your
country for investment.
SOURCE OF THE MONEY, my late father was a Diamond and Gold broker before he
was accused of illegal mining of Diamond and Gold for export abroad coupel
with his involvement in sponsoring a key functionary of the Sierra Leone
mining corporation into power before an out break which attribute to the
cold blood murder of key personel members of the union, because of this
incident my father's life was expose to danger hence he transfer the money
abroad and hurried for our exist to nearby country for our safety,
unfortunately he was murdered with his driver in an ambush, the shock of my
father's death caused my mother a heart failure and she died two weeks
later.
This is my reason to contact you, I need your help to get the money
transfer to your bank account for investment in your country on my behalf
and you will also help me to manage the business while i further my
education.
I shall be grateful to discuss more and as well give you information
