"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: This about my son, Jackson Please love and take care of him.

Dearest Friend,

Please do not delete this letter but reply me with honesty because I am writing you

with tears in my eyes and I pray that you reply me soon after reading it.

I am Mrs. Doris Joy Bambang a citizen of Port-au-Prince Haiti. I married to

Mr. James Bambang who died on January 12, 2010, in the massive earthquake that

struck Haiti. My husband was the procurement Manager of Shell Petroleum Co. Ltd UK.

I was supposed to travel to Haiti with my husband for New Year celebration, but my

health Condition could not permit me to travel with him, and I stayed back with our

only child while my husband traveled alone.

I have been suffering from cancer of the breast and diabetes since 2005 which

also affected my hearing ability. The news about my husband's death worsened

my health and since then I have been in the hospital where I am writing you this letter.

Dear, my reason for writing you this letter is about my only son, Jackson.

Jackson will face hardship in life if nobody takes cares of him when I die.

Few days ago I was told by the doctor that I may not live longer than 7 weeks due

to the damage cancer and diabetes have caused in my body organs.

I became very depressed after hearing the doctor and knowing that I will die soon.

Now, Jackson's future is my major problem because I do not have anybody to take

care of him when I die. I do not want my son to live in the orphanage as an orphan.

My doctor suggested that unless an emergency surgery is performed on time that I may

sooner than predicted. The hospital management advises that I must sign a medical undertaken

before I undergo the surgery to save my life but I am very scared to sign the undertaken

because the success of operation is not guaranteed and I may die during the operation.

This is why I am confiding in you and begging you to take my son and take care of him for

me as you own son before I undergo the surgical operation.

I don’t want to undergo the operation because I may not survive. I do not have relatives to

take care of him if I die. I can't trace them because they all died in the earthquake.

I am beneficiary of my husband's estate and next of kin to his fixed deposit in the bank.

I know the money my husband kept in the bank will be enough take care of my son's welfare.

I will give you all the details about to this Trust fund as my next of Kin if you accept to

take Jackson and take care of him as your own son.

I pray you accept my appeal, not because of the money I will offer to you for his wellbeing

but because of the love and kindness.

I really need you to take care of my son because I may not live longer to take care of him.

Please reply me through my private mail box dorbam50@sbcglobal.net

God Bless you as you reply,

Yours Friend Doris
