"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings,

I have been waiting for you to contact me for collection of your payment (Certified Bank Draft) of US$850,000.00 United States dollars(EIGHT HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS) issued to you by the Federal Minsitry of Finance but I did not hear from you since all this while.

Then I went and deposited the Bank Draft with FEDEX COURIER SERVICE, West Africa, I traveled out of the country for a 3 Months Course and I will not come back till end of my course. What you have to do now is to contact the FEDEX COURIER SERVICE as soon as possible to know when they will deliver your package to you because of the expiring date.

For your information, I have paid the Cost of delivery and Insurance premium of the draft package. You are required to pay only the Security Keeping fee of ( $85 ) to them to receive your bank draft immediately.
