"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

RE: JOINT VENTURE PARTNERSHIP

My Name is Stephen Wright. I am a Legal practitioner here in Nigeria. I hold a business portfolio in excess of US$100 Million for the Dead President Umaru Yar'Adua of Nigeria.

After the acknowledgement of the information about his Dead , I contacted his wife, Mrs. Yar'Adua  to notify her of her husbands investment and she has given me a mandate to find a credible and reliable person that will invest the funds in a stable economy. It is on this premise that I seek your assistance to claim and invest the funds in a joint Venture Partnership business (JVP).

This is a legitimate transaction and you shall be entitled to 30% of the return on Investment (ROI) for "Management Fees". If you are interested, please write back by email or you can also call me and I will provide further details and instructions on how to legally transfer the funds to you. Please keep this confidential, as my client can't afford more political problems.

If this proposal does not meet your interest for any reason, I request you discard of this letter.  But if you are interest send this following information to me.

Your Full Name
Your Address
Your Cell Phone Number And Fax Number
