"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

HELLO DEAR ,

COW MEDICINE SUPPLY

I know that this letter may not come to you as a surprise since your
organisation is well advertised. However, I am writing based on the
prevailing information I gathered concerning you in your country's chamber
of commerce. I have full confidence that you can execute this business to
our mutual benefit and I believe that you will not let down the trust and
confidence I am about to repose on you.

I work with an ivoirien based public relations firm "AMIC". I work as the
corporate affairs manager. between the 12 - 19 of January 2009, a seminar
was held at BOUAKE here in COTE D'IVOIRE of which I attended. In this
seminar I was lucky to meet ALHAJI.A.U.BOSTRA, the president of MACDOWELS
ETS.

ALHAJI.A.U.BOSTRA is an accomplished businessman. He is a
multi-millionaire farmer with cattle farms in Mali, Niger, Kenya, Burkina
Faso and Chad Republic. Moreso, he is the Greatest supplier of cattle and
dairy products to the whole of West Africa. On knowing my profession, he
told me about the huge amount of money he spends on the purchase of a
particular but very important cattle medicine. He explained to me that he
buys at US$5,000 per carton, sometimes he buys up to 2,500 cartons. He
asked me if my organisation can source for a cheaper supplier.

Back to my office, I discussed the business with my boss, he decided to
handle the supplies by himself. We did market research and discovered that
we can buy these medicines in EUROPE for $2,000 per carton. We moved a
proposal to Macdowels to supply him at $4,500usd per carton which he
accepted. I agreed with my boss that he will give me 15 % of the profit.

On the 21 of February 2009, we made our first supplies of 420 cartons to
Macdowels. After the first supply, Macdowels paid us in cash and my boss
gave me a peanut instead of the 15 percent we agreed upon. Since then, my
relationship with boss have seized to be cordial. He never talked to me
about Macdowels again.

Recently, I intercepted a letter from Macdowels to my boss. I was
surprised to learn that my boss had made eight more supplies to Macdowels
which I knew nothing about.

Right now, ALHAJI BOSTRA is requesting for more supplies of 3,500 Cartons
to be supplied to him before 25th of May, the letters never got to my
boss, instead I called ALHAJI A.U. BOSTRA the President of Macdowels
directly and convinced him that I can arrange for an international
supplier who can supply him at the price of $4,000usd per carton, but that
he (ALHAJI BOSTRA) will pay cash before lifting the goods. He agreed on
this proposal.

So he is presently waiting for me and my foreign contact and for the
moment, he has stopped all contact with my boss. If you can handle this
project please contact me immediately on my direct email address for more
details and negotiations as regards my commission.

Note : We buy one carton at US$2,000 and We sell at US$4,500 and our
client pays cash before lifting of goods, and he must not know our
purchasing point in EUROPE.

I look await your urgent response.

Thank you and best regards.
