"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: CAN I COMPLETELY TRUST YOU!!!!!

Greetings,

With warm heart I offer my friendship, and greetings, and I hopeful that this
mail will meet you in good time. However strange or surprising this contact
might seems to you, I humbly ask that you take due consideration of it's
importance and the immense benefit it will be to us (YOU AND I ). If this
proposal do not meet your personal or desired business ethics kindly accept my
sincere apology, nevertheless, I strongly believe that it will. It is my
pressure to introduce my self to you, I am Prince John C. Pumata, the son of
late king Henry Pumata 11 of Ndebele Kingdom of the Northern Province of South
Africa. My father King Henry Pumata 11 has an oil well, worth Millions of
dollars. Unfortunately, my late father died with my mother and other
two younger
sister's in the tragic motor accident on the 19th December,2008.

By then, I was in United Kingdom where I am pursuing my academic
program. After
the burial Ceremony of my late parents and siblings, my late father Attorney
called my attention and notified me of the sum (Us$25,000,000) Twenty Five
Million United State Dollars which he lodged into a Finance House before he
died. It has been on my interest to transfer this fund into an
offshore account
abroad for investment purposes with an assistant of a foreigner since
I was told
by my late father's attorney that the death of my father was masterminded by
some of his brother's and other family members who wants to take over the
property and other valuable items of my late father out of jealousy.
So, I wish
to make this transfer without their knowledge because if they really found out
about the existence of this fund, they will confiscate the fund.

In the light of the above, I contacted you to partner with me and have
this fund
claim in your name as a business partner to my late father who lodged the fund
in a bank pending on the procurement for a viable business venture in your
country where the fund will be invested. Can you be my partner? I am
in need of
your serious assistance from you in entrusting this investment fund in your
care. I have documentary Evidence/proof of the existence of the fund
as stated
to you Above. I am constrained to issue more details about this
business until
your response is received. If you know that you are capable to handle large or
small amount on trust and can keep secret and ready to take 45% of any
amount I
transfer to your account from the dormant account and I will take 55%,
send your
account information's by return mail. Tell me more about yourself,
while I look
forward to receive the above information.

I want to re-assure you that this business is risk free and you can send an
empty account to receive the funds, provided that the account is capable to
receive incoming funds. Look forward to discuss this opportunity further with
you in detail.

Thank you for your time and attention.

Regards,

Prince John C. Pumata
