"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

end of the year. To this effect the central bank has decided to pay you $10.7m
through diplomatic means. This further explains that your funds will be packaged
through Courier Company to be delivered to your doorstep by a diplomatic agent as
consignments that is packaged in consignment boxes.
Kindly Re-confirm to us. 1. Your Name, 2. Home Address, city and state 3 .Your
home and cell Phone. Considering the recent fire out-break in the central bank
building, which mostly affected the information’s department and as well our
financial record files and system maintaining through the British award lottery
organization file, hence we could not properly view your initial info/account
details. But if you have received this by (electronic email sending error) to
your system, kindly help us by informing us to enable sort this out. This means
is put in place to enable us meet our target for this finical year, all the risk
involved with the process has been considered.
