"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I and my sister,

I and my sister,

The reason my father and his mistress got into trouble is due to the fact he refused to contact a foreign partner who will assist him in receiving US$78.8million of his money, he rather preferred to transport (US$58Million) some part of that money out of my country with the help of his mistress all by cash in a suitcase, unfortunate they had a very big problem when they reached their destination. Now, I and my sister have deposited the remaining of the money (US$20.8 Million) our father left behind into a security and finance company with the name Mr. Pitt Jefferson. And we seek your consent to present you as the beneficiary to this funds and transfer this money by means of bank to bank wire transfer or a regular Cashier’s Check into your account in your country otherwise we are going to lose all. The finance company has given us deposit sleep to this effect which we shall pass a copy to you on receipt of your response.

The reason we need your assistance is for you to secure our future for us, we demand that you will arrange our VISA and other necessaries and lead us into your country, then you will use some part of this money to register us in a high school or university and the other part of the money will be for our welfare that is all we want, I am 18 and my sister is 15years.
We look forward to you quick response,

Thank you,

Patricia and Lisa
