"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Compliment of the day to you, How are you doing? Hope you have not forgotten me so soon? I am writing you this letter to show my gratitude and compensate you for your past efforts some time ago to assist me secure the release of some money accrued from the over invoicing fund that was awarded by my government during the military regime. Though, you were unable to conclude the transaction with me then. However, I'm happy to inform you about my success in getting those funds transferred under the assistance and cooperation of a new partner from Germany.

I am presently in China for some investment projects with my own share of the total sum. meanwhile, i didn't forget your past efforts to assist me in transferring those funds, I made sure you were not left out from the benefit of the transaction hence I kept aside for you sum of $2.5 Million Bank Check for your compensation.

Please be advice to contact my secretary "Paul Akufesia" and instruct him to send the Bank Check to you. At the moment, I'm very busy here because of the investment projects I have at hand. Finally, be inform that i left instruction with my secretary so as soon as you contact him, he will tell you possible ways your Bank Check could be sent to you, so feel free to get in touch with him immediately.
