"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Seasonal greetings, Please read carefully.

I want you to know that I did not come to you by chance nor by accident, I have come to you because of my desperate situation at this very moment of my life. Let me introduce myself, I am Mrs. Ansatu Ahmed the second wife to Late Mr. Ibrahim Ahmed a business man here in Ivory Coast. After 12 years of marriage without any child from his first wife who pleaded with me personally to accept the marriage and have children for our husband as second wife.  After having two children, things change as the first wife started treating us as slaves and outcasts. My late husband could not do anything about it because he was influence by the first wife and her family since his business and wealth is back up by the first wife family. Around April last year 2009 my late husband became sick that took him from one hospital to another. Later on November the same year it became obvious that he was going to die. As I was busy going from one hospital to another with my sick husband, the first wife was busy changing all his properties to her brother’s name. On his hospital bed before dying, my late husband confide in me that he knows that his first wife will not allow us anything, hence he told me of a special secret a consignments he deposited in a finance security house here in Abidjan Ivory Coast worth 1.2 million Euro. He told me that he made the deposit as family belongings so that no one will know there is money in the box, all this for security reason. The next of kin he mentioned the name of our son Musa and he directed me to go and get the documents and keep it safely.

Now my husband died in December and has since been buried and his people following tradition are asking for his properties, which the first wife has refused to release. Seeing that my children pose the only legal problem to her and her family over my late husband's properties, the have resolved to make sure that my children are killed at all cost. I want to do my late husband wish, by protecting our children rather than fighting back. I am therefore seeking your concern to cooperate with me so that the financial house can send the consignment to you, so that after the transfer you will help me and my children to come over to your country where we intend to spend the rest of our life and run away from this wicked people. I am also sick and will want somewhere I will be in peace to take my treatment and be sure my children are save, as such you are free to name your price for your help. If you can handle this with me, reach me for more details. Thanking you for your anticipated cooperation through my privat email: ansatu_ahmed@cantv.net or call us Tel: +22508203509

Sincerely yours,
Mrs. Ansatu Ahmed
