"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Letter From Hajia Turai Umaru Yar'Adua
No. 31 Musa Yar'adua Avenue
Kastina State. Nigeria.

Assalam'alaikum,

I am Hajia Turai Umaru Yar'Adua wife of the last Nigerian Head of State, President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who died at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja on the 5/05/2010 at the age of 58. Yar'Adua had been battling acute pericaditis, an inflammation of the membrane around the heart, since November last year for which he received treatment at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

I am contacting you in view of the fact that we will be of great assistance to each other, likewise developing a cordial Mutual business relationship. I currently have within my reach the sum of US$50M United States dollars, and we want to use this opportunity to transfer the sum of US$50M to you through accredited diplomatic channels for safe keeping abroad because we are having a lot of pressure from the present government of Jonathan Goodluck to confiscate all our family treasures.
Right now, the new civilian government of Jonathan Goodluck has intensified to withdraw the security aids of my late husband and is threatening to confiscate all our family treasure and, my late husband's financial resources and he intends to frozen our accounts from a reliable source reaching my family. In view of these facts, I acted fast to lodge the US$50,000,000.00 USD into a security vault and deposited it in a security company.

Due to the current situation in the country concerning the Government's attitude towards my family, it has become quite impossible for me to make use of this money, thus upon your consent, I shall expect you to contact my son Hassan Musa Yar'Adua with the above Tel No: +234-9-7821293 urgently to enable us discuss in detail about this transaction.

Bearing in mind that your assistance is needed to transfer this fund, I propose a commission of 30% of the sum to you for the expected service and assistance. Your response is highly needed so as to stop further contact.

With tears I am as a widow asking you to come to our family rescue to avoid the present government of Jonathan Goodluck confiscating all my husband has worked for. You can visit these websites for your confirmation.
