"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am Ms. Rose F. Kazeem of a financial company. In my department we
discovered an unclaimed and undisclosed US$ Millions of dollars and Precious
Gold in our depository vault, which belongs to one of our foreign customer
(LATE SHEIKH AHMED BIN ZAYED AL NAHYAN, head of one of the world's largest
sovereign wealth funds and a brother of Abu Dhabi's ruler. He died in an air
crash in Morocco.

As managing director of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Sheikh Ahmed was in
charge of investing proceeds from Abu Dhabi's ownership of more than 7
percent of world oil reserves. He deposited this funds with our Financial
Services here in UK for the purchase of Gold and Diamond in Accra
Ghana and South
Africa for his exports into the Gulf and Middle East countries.

Since we got information about his death, we have been expecting his family
or relations to come over to claim his deposited Gold and fund in our
financial vault, but non has turned up to lay claims.

I contacted you because, if this fund is not transfer out urgently the fund
will be diverted to the British Treasury as an Unclaimed Fund and Treasure,
because of the law imposed by the former British Prime Minister Gordon
Brown.
