"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear.
Compliments of the day to you .I am Mr David Smith, Manager Audit
Accounting Department of a Bank (here in the U.K) and I would like to
know if this proposal will be worth while for your acceptance. I have a
Foreign Customer,Mr. Andreas Schranner from Germany who was an
Investor, Crude Oil Merchant and property magnate that was a victim
with Concord Air Line, flight AF4590 killing 113 people crashed on 25
July 2000 near Paris leaving a closing balance of Twelve Million Eight
Hundred Thousand British pounds (12.8m) in one of his Private
Accounts that was being managed by me as the Customer's then Account
Officer.Based on my security report, these funds can be claimed
without any hitches as no one is aware of the funds and its closing
balance except me and the customer (Now Deceased) as all his family
were killed in the unfortunate crash incident therefore, I can present
you as the Next of Kin and we will work out the modalities for the
claiming of the funds in accordance with the law.
