"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Dear/Madam,

I wish to introduce my self to you. I am Ormik Mbeku Junior a citizen of South Africa but presently in Ghana, i am 20 years old and my younger sister is 17years old, we both are children of late Mr. Ormik Mbeku an international business man also the CEO of ormik Trade International in cape town south Africa. Our parents died in the Java earthquake which happened in Indonesia on Tuesday, 30th May 2006 along with my mummy when both went on a business trip to Indonesia.

We are the only survivors in the family and we are surrounded with wicked relatives who have taken almost everything our father left for us and we are left with noting but just managing life and engage in a small scale business wich we are using to surport our education because we need our future to be bright.

Fortunately for us, last month a man contacted me via sms to my mobile phone that i should contact him urgently via email or telephone which i did. On replying to my email to him, he explain that Our late father deposited the sum of $2,500,000.00 (TWO MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS) with a Bank in Accra Ghana for safe keeping during his life time, as if he knew before his death he had instructed that I should claim it to take care of my only sister and I in future,  he invited us to Accra Ghana through the sponsorship of the bank we were able to get our visa and landed in Accra some days ago, we were taken  right to in the Banking hall and all the document regarding the fund were issued to us by the bank after all investigation were concluded.

Presently, my sister and I are still in Accra Ghana, as we are seeking for a reliable person who will assist us to get the funds from the Bank since we do not have the resources to do it by ourselves. However, my contacting you is to help us transfer the money to your bank account since we don't have any bank account and we had lost all we ever had in the hand of our weeked relatives, God has provide another hope of survival to us through this development.

All we ask is for you to stand-in as our investor, to facilitate the transfer of the funds from the bank to your bank account anywhere in the world. All we need is your help since we are left with no other alternative. The money will be used for investments with your advice, also i can enter into a joint business with you depending on your wishes and agreements we could reach. We intend to invest this money abroad with your assistance so that my younger sister and i will have better future with you and your family. You will also advise us the best area we can invest the money in your country because this is the only hope we have to live a better life.

The bank manager advice us to keep the original documents of the fund for safe keeping in a security company here in Ghana or hand it over to a lawyer to avoid misplacement which we have done already and I have confirmed that the fund is safe in the bank.

I will appreciate your interest in helping us in this situation, i will await your timely response .

Thank you and May God bless you richly.

Best Regards,
Ormik Mbeku Junior
