"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am Dr Seidou Hammed, The Chief Auditor/Information Manager, In-Charge of Foreign Unit of our bank and i have had the intent to contact you over this financial transaction/transfer worth the sum of Twelve Million Five Hundred Thousand U.S Dollars (US$12.5M)for our progress and richness.This is an abandoned sum that belongs to our late foreign customer MR PAUL LOUIS HALLEY (an International Billionaire French Businessman) who died in plane crash disaster since three years ago along with his wife.
 
 
I was opportuned to see the deceased deposit file bearing this huge amount of money when i was inspecting the dated and current customers files in other to sign and submit to the entire bank management for an official validation / re-documentation against the statement approval to the account holders for the year. In a swift investigation carried out by me, i found out that non of the deceased relative is aware of the abandoned fund except his late wife.  
 
As a result of that, it is an extremely confidential matter between me and you.
 
Hence you are a foreigner to our country, you are authorized by our Banking law to apply and claim the fund into your account as the NEXT-OF-KIN to the deceased. For assisting me to get the fund transferred into your bank account, the ratio of 30% of the total sum is for your share whereas 70% is for me as business pioneer.In realization and upon receiving this funds into your account, i would also consider to invest larger part of my percentage into a profitable business in your country, and you shall act as my guardian and counsel to get it done.
