"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

In this year's meeting, the G8 leaders agreed in reaffirming the group's essential and continuing role in international affairs and, assertions of new-found relevance.

We are on a rescue mission which missions are undertaken as part of request by the G8 World Summit, to investigate and pay foreign fund recipients, owed by African, European and Asian Governments and its banks years back-to-date. Whose funds have been scammed from Contracts Execution, Lottery Winnings, and/or Inheritance by their deceased family or relatives in these respective continents. In view of these, please oblige us to send your beneficiary/bank co-ordinate information while acknowledging this letter to help us reconcile with your file before us, and to avert erroneous fund transfer. We have completed this investigation and you are hereby approved to receive the fund due to you, and we pledge our total support to assist you recover this fund.

Note that your funds have already been processed into the Bank so can't be accessed by anyone apart from you the bona-fide to the fund in question till when paid to you. More so, you are advised to desist from anyone if you still deal with them so that your hands aren't burnt again, we would appreciate if you can tell us how you were scammed.
