"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Sir/ Madam,

How are you and your family today? I’m contacting you from
sick bed and I hope you will adhere to the voice of love which I intend to make
this offer. It is written that indeed we come into this world with nothing and
we shall take absolutely nothing out of it. I have been suffering cardiac
arrest for the past six months and looking into my present condition I don’t
think life worth living anymore.

I lost my wife five years back and ever since then I have
always wish to join her because my only child (Ester) have been deceived by a
wicked Nigerian that married her; oh yes I warned her earlier when I discovered
that OLUMIDE is after my money but she wouldn’t listen. Isn’t it painful to
spend six months here neither seeing nor hearing from my only child? The wicked
boy made her soled my Oil Mill and absconds with the money, is all my fault
because I made her the managing director and the boy in question was my
personal assistance but was fired the moment I discovered his intension to ruin
my family.

The funds I have with Benin National Bank was divided, half
has been used to build orphanage home here and the remaining $12,500,000.00
must be shared to widows and less-privilege abroad, hence my spirit directed me
to contact you believing that you will be kind enough to handle it. You can
take $1,000,000.00 for your participation and ensure the rest get across
less-privilege so as to make life meaningful to the living. Also, my medical
doctor ‘Robert Wilson’ will guide you to receive the funds considering my
critical condition. My Advise;
endeavor to always do what ever you can to favor your neighbor now that you are
healthy because life is not meaningful at the point of death.

I wish you all the best!

Engineer Steve Katunga.
