"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: From Mis.Roseline Kennedy

Dear Sir,

I know that this letter will come to you as a surprise, but before God that created us, I am Miss Roseline Kennedy 25 year old, daughter of late Engr.Kennedy a retired civil servant and also a business man who died with my mum during the Haiti earthquake, I came back from school and discovered that my parents were involved, if not for the little assistance the church granted me I would have been mad by now, I give God the glory.

Two weeks ago Sir, I went to our guest house and discovered some vital documents, from these documents I was able to know that my father kept with a security company in Asia the sum of usd$1.5million for the family and now I am the only one left, I am no longer interested in living in Haiti again, I want to relocate where the environment will be condusive for me.

Please right now, I am in a very difficult condition because I can't claim this money without paying the accumulated demurrage due to the fact that the money has long over due the agreed period in which I am meant to claim it.
Right now i am in a very difficult situation because i can no longer take care of myself and the help given to us by the government and some humanitarian organizations is not enough.

(1) So I want you to assist me to contact the security company on my name where this money is kept for the immediate release,
(2) You will also help me to invest this fund in some lucrative business in your country and give some part of it to motherless babies home and the victims of this kind of social desaster.
(3) And finally, you will assist me to complete my education in your country.

I am promising you that any amount of money you spent in assisting me, you'll have it back when we must have claimed the money and apart from that, I have mapped out 30% for your effort , and also I will like you to help me to get a visa to come over to your country and invest this money based on your advice.
Please your urgent response will be immensely appreciated as you contact me immediately.
may God be with you as i expect your urgent response .

Best regards,
Mis.Roseline Kennedy.
