"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir

I saw your email address during my search for a gold buyer and I decided to contact you. I Mrs Memuna Camara from Guinea and presently in London for medical treatment. I have 250 Kilos of 22 carrat Gold Dust and 94.6% purity, Guinea origin for sale.

Please, take note that I am not a Gold dealer, it is an inheritance from my late husband who died few months ago. Now that i have decided to sell the product, somebody advised me to find a buyer through internet hence I could not find a buyer who will buy all the quantity at once .

Therefore, I am contacting you to sell directly to you or help me find a buyer and i will discuss your commission. The price is negotiable and you will not pay for the goods until they have arrived your chosen refinery and the assay report confirmed.

Warm regards,

Mrs Memuna Camara
