"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir,

I wish to express my sincere interest in your services/partnership, could you please furnish me with your most private e-mail address, phone and fax numbers for an urgent business proposal. May i bring to your notice as i have more than 158 Corporate Investors attached to my PORTFOLIO whose Capital Investment Funds are been managed and administered by me alone.

It might interest you to know that I handle all our Investor's Direct Capital Funds and secretly extract 1.2% Excess Maximum Return Capital Profit (EMRCP) per annual on each of the Investor's Magellan Capital Funds.
As an expert, I have made over USD 45,745,000.00 from the Investor's EMRCP and hereby looking for your help to stand as an Investor with Fidelity, in order to receive the funds as your Investment Proceeds from Fidelity Magellan Capital Funds. I cannot claim the funds directly using my name as it will jeopardize my official reputation and good name in the office but I stand the position of making you an investor with Fidelity and you will confirm the funds successfully in your account.
Your quick response will be highly appreciated.

Anxiously waiting.
Your faithfully

Thank you.
