"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Editors,

I just wanted to let you know that these criminals have reached me too.

Below I send you the letters I got 3 days ago and today. Both came via the
Facebook!

Would be very glad if you could do something against these people, the first
step could be to stop their activity on the Facebook!

Re: Urgent/ Dear Kukta,
Dear Szabolcs Kukta,

Thanks for your respond.

Sequel to my official letter sent to you, i made it clearly to you whom i am and
to whom i m working with as legal luminary. My contact to you is to seek an
interest of you helping me out which will also brings help to both of us if we
agree together to achieve together.

Engineer J.B Kukta, is my client but he is now late. He died in crash and there
is no one to claim his funds here accept someone that has similar name like his,
and i have seen your last name similarly like his, and that is why i want you to
stand and claim this funds, so that we can share it punctual according to the
reliable agreement we will have before starting.

I am barrister James Koffi, the legal luminary/property holder. I started
working with my late client for a very long time, before the accident, he made
live deposit which i am his property legal monitory holder and documents, and my
communication with him has gone far as we are acting and relating as brothers.
Now he is death, and the worst part of death is he didn't let any of his family
to know about the deposit and also he did not let me know his families retainer
due to we do not have time for rate communication since we are in the business
venture.

Republic of Togo is my country, and will like you to stand and claim this fund
which was deposited in the bank here.

My expression asking you to become the next of kin of my decease client, simply
because he is from your country and it will be easier for someone who is from
the same country of my late client to stand and claim this fund, acting as the
next of kin or as the pure relative of my late client, and i promised you that i
will provide every vital documents that will validate this transaction as well
as you are the true owners, and cover up ever loophole which the bank will not
even know forever.

My chamber is too strong to hold this matter clearly; all i need is your support
and provision of your data like as i have request. Your details will allow me to
provide you the following hard document for your submission to the bank.
1. Power of Attorney
2. Authorization Letter
3. Letter of Claim
4. Death Certificate of my late client
5. Authoritative power to change of ownership fund certificate.
Wait to hear from you soonest together with your data.
Hope to hear from you soonest,
Barrister James Koffi.
