"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.

From A. Ansah.
Dear Sir,

Please don't be surprised to receive this letter from me since we’ve  not known each other before now. I am Mrs,Anna Ansah, the wife of Late Catima Ansah, a farmer in ZIMBABWE who was murdered in the land dispute in my country. I got your contact through network online as I need an honest and reliable person to trust in, Hence I decided to write you.

Before the death of my husband, he made a deposit with a security firm for safe keeping. Actually it is the sum of Ten Million seven hundred thousand United State Dollars (USD10.7M) it was deposited as family valuables in a two trunk boxes for security reasons, please keep it confidencial. this was done when my husband noticed the looming danger in Zimbabwe on land policies. This amount was meant for the purchase of new Agricultural machineries And chemicals for our Farms and establishment of new farms in Swaziland. This land problem came when Zimbabwean President Mr. Robert Mugabe introduced a new Land Act Reform that wholly affected the white farmers and some few black farmers alike. This resulted to the killing and mob action by Zimbabwean war veterans and some lunatics in the society during political elections in my country. In fact a lot Of people were killed because of this Land reform Act of which my
Husband was one of the victims.

It is against this background that I and my two children fled Zimbabwe  For fear of our lives. We are currently taking refuge in the South Africa where we sort political asylum. At this point, we have decided to transfer my late husband's money to a more reliable foreign account to start profitable investments. I must let you know that this transaction is free from risk hence all the deposit documents are all intact. I and my son have agreed together to give you 25% of the total sum for your noble assistance for the transfer Of the money into your account  And for Subsequent investment under your care and your advice.

THIS MATTER REQUIRES MATURITY AND TRUST.
Please reply through my private e-mail address:mrscatima@aol.com

Regards,
Mrs.Anna Ansah
