"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

What I'm about to share with you is confidential between me and you.Can I confide in you?

I have been in active service for over 35 years, I have been to many missions and assignments
overseas. Sometimes on foreign assignment, it is normal to recover treasure and precious items
from conflict zones across the globe. On a routine patrol last weekend with squad members
attached to my HQ around the Iraqi city of Taji 20 miles north of Baghdad, I recovered a
huge sum of money in USD from a wrecked abandoned building.

As you know, i intend to retire
from active service after my current assignment here in iraq. The total sum is $10.5 million USD
in sealed metallic truck box, I have arranged with a trusted UN diplomat who is ready to moved
the consignment cargo to DUBLIN,IRELAND at short notice.

This is not a joke or child play. What I require of you is to travel down to Dublin to meet
with the diplomat in person as my associate over there in Ireland. I'm a reasonable man,
I intend to compensate you handsomely for your time, I have decided to reward you with
$1.5 million USD. After you have received the consignment safely in your custody, you will
arrange for bank safety deposit boxes for the remainder of $5 million USD pending further
instructions from me. What do you think about investing in real estate?

NOTE: The diplomat is not aware the true contents of the consignment. The contents of the trunk
box is confidential between me and you.
