"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Be my foreign beneficiary

Dear Sir/Madam,

It might surprise that I write this mail to you. I am Jonathan Kaba, 23
years old, and a Liberian refugee presently at the Refugee Camp in Ghana.
I am writing to let you know that my late father left a consignment of
gold bars and other precious metals as my inheritance before he died
during the war that outburst in Liberia. I and my ailing mother were
forced out of our country and now live miserably as Refugees in Ghana. We
have this consignment of gold bars and precious metals, together with a
liquid cash value in US$ of 12.4 million lodged in the Security Company
where my father kept here in Ghana.

I don't have any money to spend on my sickly mother now, and the funds I
cannot retrieve them now, since the consignment is still at the Security
company pending withdrawal. I want this consignment shipped through
diplomatic means to your country and I want you to be my partner to invest
the money for me. I and my mother are willing to compensate you with 30%
of the total value of the consignment, if you agree to receive it on our
behalf in your country. You are being our foreign beneficiary.

Please you can contact me directly via email j.kaba2000@zoho.com Thank you
very much in advance.

Yours faithfully,

Jonathan Kaba
