"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Saudi Trade and Investment Commission have been at the forefront of
forging a close and dynamic Business relationship with your Country. Our
achievements over the past seven decades have been spectacular and we look
to the future with great hope and expectation.

Since 1995, the Committee for International Trade, Council of Saudi chambers
of Commerce and Industry 1730 M Street, NW, Suite 503 Washington, DC 20036
has embarked upon the bringing of our Saudi businessmen and Investors into
close working relationship and partnership with the business community in
many countries. This we do from the office of the Saudi Committee for the
Development of International Trade office in Charles Street , Mayfair
London.

The Objective of this Letter is to inform you that we have a Saudi Sheikh,
who was chairman that managed excess crude windfall of last year, who has
contacted us to partner with him in this regard. The recent unprecedented
surge in the price of petroleum last year has resulted in excess revenue of
which he diverted a large amount without the knowledge of the
authorities. Now he wants to bring funds for investment in the areas of
Shares and Stock purchase,

investment in information technology and biotechnology industry and also
real estate or any other of your specialization with potential for good
return. The Saudi Invest house is providing the clearing House for this
venture and all interested person should contact Mr Othman Hashim directly
via his email (othmanhashim@live.com) so that we can broker a direct
relationship with the sheikh for access of the investment fund.

Yours Sincerely,
Mr Peter Charles Uche.
