"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I have been waiting for you to come down here to pick up your funds since, but I did not hear from you, then I went and deposited the funds (US$7.5million) with the Bank in Nigeria to be release to you via ATM CARD, because I am traveling to return next month end.

You are to contact the ATM Payment Department Email:( atmcard01@yahoo.com) CENTER Nigeria immediately to know when they will deliver your Visa ATM CARD.

The processing charges have been paid. The only money you have to send to them is there delivery charges of $160 to enable them dispatch you’re VISA ATM CARD. So contact them with your information.

Contact them as soon as possible to avoid delaying the dispatch of your ATM CARD. Finally, you have to reconfirm this information, namely; your complete names, phone number and residence address to them again as stated above to avoid any mistake in the delivery.
