"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good day and complemented of the season, how are you doing and how is your family also doing, hope good?

I am Hon. Dr. David Roll, The Chairman United Nations Presidential Task force for Refugees; I am directed to pass this information to you that Ghana Members of Parliament is looking for someone who can be an Ambassador to the African refugees here in Ghana and some other African countries.

The meeting was held yesterday at the Presidential castle House in OSU, Accra Ghana. If you are appointed and approved from other nominees selected as the Ambassador to African Refugees, you will take care of all the funds/money donated to the refugees from the United Nations headquarter, non Governmental organizations (NGOs), benefactors and benefactress.

Your duty also as an Ambassador here in Africa is to handle all the contracts of food supply, health care services and Clothing’s of the refugees, as well as the construction of the two new refugee camps in Volta and Eastern regions and as well rehabilitate the Bujumbura refugee camp where the Liberian refugees are staying here in Ghana.

Therefore, you are mandated to forward all your details to me and your credentials if any for endorsement in the official registration list as an Ambassador representing African refugees. There are many people interested in this position; your earliest response will be appreciated.
