"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

The Google Promotion Award Team has discovered a huge number (No) of double =
claims due to winners informing Close friends relatives and third parties ab=
out their winning and also sharing their pin numbers. As a result of this, t=
hese friends try to claim the lottery on behalf of the real winners. The Goo=
gle Promotion Award Team has reached a decision from headquarters that any d=
ouble claim discovered by the Lottery Board will result to the cancellation =
of that particular winner, making a loss for both the double claimer and th=
e real winner, it is as a result that the real winner was the one who infor=
med the imposter of the lottery. In order to avoid Disqualification you are=
hereby strongly advised one more time to keep your winnings strictly confi=
dential until you claim your CHEQUE.

Once again we say Congratulations from the Staff & Members of the Google Int=
eractive Lotteries Board Commission (GILBOC).

Your In Service,
Mr. Bob Steve.
