"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

This email uses a separate reply address that is different from the sender address. Spammers use this to get replies even when the original spam sending accounts have been shut down. Also, sometimes the sender addresses are legitimate looking but fake and only the reply address is actually an email account controlled by the scammers.

This email lists free webmail addresses. Use of such addresses is typical for scams. Lotteries, banks and any but the smallest of companies do not normally use such addresses. Criminals use them to anonymously send and receive email at Internet cafes.

Please consider my poor english.I'm just an old Japanese dieing man and my wife died on Tue 15th March according to the Doctor because i was unconscious just regained a bit since yesterday night.We were victims of Tsunami that happened in our country(Japan) on 11th Friday,Our two children died at the spot.My wife died on tuesday and the Doctor said my days are numbered on earth.My heart is failing me serious,Having difficulty to breath.I'm breathing with machine.My health is really in shamble.

My wife & i are married for good 38 years and we are blessed with two children though they are late now.Sorry i'm not a christian but believe strongly in GOD.I always appreciate Him for the gift of life and all his blessings in my family.

I was having $17,000,000.00 i deposited with Chiba Bank in my country Japan which i had today authorized the Bank to give all the money to our government to help Tsunami victims,fosters people,less previlages and handicapped in my country.

Meanwhile,i have $2,500,000.00 presently in our neighbouring country China Merchant Bank,CHINA which i want it to be spent on fosters people,less previlages and handicapped in your country.

Please can i trust you to carry out this my last wish for me?

As soon as I receive your reply & If you can promise me that you can carry out this my last wish in your country,I shall give you the contact of the Bank in CHINA. I will also give you all information regarding the deposit of this money. I will also issue you a letter of authority that will empower you as the original- beneficiary of this money. I want you and your church to always pray for me because God work in mysterious ways. My happiness is that I accepted CHRIST as my personal saviour at die minute.
