"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good Day

I am writing this mail to you with tears and sorrow from my heart,
I know that this mail might come to you as a surprise because we have
not meet.

My name is Mrs Elizbeth Addoquaye, the wife of late Dr Sam
Addoquaye, the blessed memory My husband was a very wealthy cocoa
merchant in Abidjan and member of (wcf) World Cocoa Foundation, the
economic capital of Ivory Coast.

My husband was poisoned in one of their outings on a business trip
later five days he died in the hospital.

I am contacting you to let you know my desire to establish a charity
foundation in your country with some amount of Euro ( £3,800,000.00 )
which I inherited from my late husband.

It is my desire to see that this money is invested in any business
organization of your choice in your country and distribute each year
40 % profit of the investment among the charity organizations in your
country.

After my husband burial the wealth recovered from his estate was
shared among and I asked members of my husband family to donate to
charity organization, they refused and kept the money for themselves
Hence, I do not trust them anymore, they are not contented with what
left for them and all their wealth

I took this decision because I was raised from a motherless baby’s
home adopted, widow with a son of 12 years old and presently, I'm
hospitalized where I am undergoing treatment for my up coming cancer
surgery operation here in my country.

Please reply as soon as possible to confirming your acceptance to this
proposition so that I will give you all the relevant information that
will authorise the release and transfer of the fund to you as my duly
assigned representative as i know what i going to face but have not
lose my fate but confidence for my son life.

Thank you in advance for your understanding and I look forward hearing from
you urgently.

Warm regards,
Mrs Elizbeth
