"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My name is Mr. Robert Clarkson, a Bank manager in one of the international banks here in Malaysia; I am seeking your noble and honest assistance to help me receive the sum of us$10 Million Dollars, into your nominated bank account. Your share will be us$4 Million Dollars.
 
The owner of these funds is one of our late big customers, Mrs. Melisa Chong, who just died in Japan disaster; unfortunately I lent that her supposed next of kin being his only daughter died along with her in the disaster, hence I got your contact email through a world directory and decided to contact you for this deal.
 
I Must let you know this is absolutely confidential for security purpose, and I shall visit your country for the mutual Sharing of the money between both of us, believing that you will never Let me down after the money must has been transferred into your account as the original beneficiary; So If you are interested in this deal, get back to me for more details.
