"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dearest,

I am Miss Susan Abdullah, a student of University of Leeds London UK, and my late father’s name was Husain Abdullah from Kuwait, who was an oil merchant before he was assassinated on the 26th of May 2009; please, I need you to help me retrieve one trunk box of money that my late Father deposited with a security company, which contains US$6 Million Dollars inside, but he deposited it as family treasures and the security company is not aware of the real contents. As soon as the security company releases the Trunk box to you, you will help me to relocate to your country for us to invest the money there in your care.  Please if you are ready to help me, get back to me for more details ok.

I wait to hear from you.

Miss. Susan Abdullah
