"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings,

I am Prince Ali Kashmir a Liberian but presently proceeding to Ghana
with my consignment containing funds,so that i can from there seek the
assistance of a foreign beneficiary to whom i will transfer my box to
for investment so that he too can make arrangements for me to come
over to his country too,where i wish to further my Education.

Presently i am at the border facing difficulties trying to pass the
last custom check point. The money i took from my box to settle the
custom officers at the bother so that they will not obstruct me or
even check the content of my box,got finish which trying to settle the
other officers. Right now my box is at the last check point custom
office where i will need to tip the officer before i gain free passage
into Ghana from which i will need update from you as regarding how i
can make the transfer of my box to you. I really need to get these
funds out of Africa because of my late father's relations who are
wanting to reap my mum and i off my inheritance.

Right now i need your help to tip the officer at the border check
point.I do not want to open the box in his presence to take some funds
from it to tip him,because if he sees the content of my box,i know i
will have trouble getting my box out of there,or even lose it to
them.Most of them here are criminals.

Please update me of your position so that i can get out of here,and
for us to proceed with the transaction as quickly as possible.
