"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

A meeting was held today with the Secretary-General of the United Nation Ban Ki-Moon, the American Government and also the Asian Government. In this meeting, it was scheduled that anyone who knows that he\she has been extracted money in any source in the name of helping him\her receive his contract payment will be finally settled. It was concluded that this payment will come from the Central Bank of India and they have contacted the bank to notify them of the latest development on which i was given some names and instructed to contact them immediately.

Luckily, your name was among the ten names listed to be the first to receive their fund. The United Nation Secretary on behalf of the entire countries sincerely apologize for all the pains and stress which you might have gone through all this years while trying to receive your hard earned contract payment. You are required to forward your full banking details where your fund will be transferred to so that the proper arrangement will be started immediately. We have many more transactions to make therefore, you have to be fast in getting back to us because if you don't act fast, your turn will be replaced with other serious contractor.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Yours Faithfully,

Mr. Adams J. Philip
Director Foreign Payment Department
Reserve Bank of India (RBI)
