"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: My situation for delivery of the fund.

Dear, good morning to you and your family, glory be to God that the new Government has taken sit and it is good to everyone here now. Without even known the central bank of africa have call back every fund transfered during the crises here. They invited me Mr. Saide Kobi Kabila, the only son of late Mrs. Sifa Maanya Kabila, to be in their bank last week but I was there by 8.30am this morning. From the advice I received from the bank boss, the only way to transfer fund here is through diplomatic shipment to any country. Already, the fund have been packed in a consignment box and deposited in security company in London for immediate shipment to you directly to your country.

Contact them immedaitely, call them on phone and tell them to give you the procedures to receive the consignment box directly to you. But do not allow the security company to know the contents of the consignment box as money because it was decleared here to them as family belonging for security reasons. Do let me know your discussions with the security company in London.

The telephone service here is still not very ok as so many things were destroyed during the war here. I want you to please contact the diplomatic delivery office in London because bank of Africa has given me information the deliveries have been handed over to the diplomatic delivery office in London.

They will deliver the consignment to your address in your country. I have already registered your name to the bank of africa here as my beneficiary and receiver over there. kindly contact the delivery office in London to know the procedures and when they will deliver to you the fund, please you know my situation here and the sufferings I see here since my mother died and the war that going on here. Please try all you can do this for me quick and help me so I will come and join you very soon. It is all you will do for me now so I can save the family inheritance with you. I put my entire faith in you and I trust you so much.

The bank said they decide that the inheritance go direct from London for safe delivery as things are still not too ok here. The bank of africa gave this information to contact the delivery service in London. Please here are the security company contact details, see it below.
