"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Regarding Investment Venture

Sir,

I want you to help me and receive the sum of US$8,500,000.00 abroad and invest for my family into real estate and property transactions, and I want you to assume responsibility of management on investment.

This money belonged to my late father Mr. John Darlington Nyamande. He stored the money in the storage company not in the bank to avoid government knowledge, hoping to use it to finance his presidential campaign, but which was not to be as he wasmurdered because of his presidential ambition in Zimbabwe.

My dad conceal the money inside box and decleare the contents as high valued family artifacts for security reasons and easy access of cash during campaign. The idea was that at the right time he would bring them out and exchange in local currency and use forpresidential campaign.

look forward to your reply for further details.

Very Sincerely, Laurent Nyamande.
