"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I know this mail may come to you as it is unexpected because we do not know each other before, but I hope you will treat this matter with love and fear of God.

I am Richard Habib the son of late Mr Habib my father was killed during the political crisis of my country cote d’ivoire with my mother including my only younger brother while i was in a boarding school when the incident happens. I believe you might have heard it from the BBC NEWS and other news broad casting stations concerning the crisis that happen in my country cote d’ivoire . Right now I am left alone since the sudden accident of my father and the family. I have been displaced and totally disorganized left with nothing and nobody to cater for me since their deaths.

Some days ago,i had a call from my late father’s bank that my late father deposited the sum of US$6.8M with their bank here and my name was written as the next of kin to the fund.

Presently am in city to see the director of the bank and present myself as my late father's next of kin. I have met the director personally and he gave me the beneficiary payment form and other documents which it requires bank account where the fund will be transferred to and i should seek for foreign partner or guardian according to the agreement terms.

Please I am looking humid for your help in the following ways:

1) to provide a safe bank account where this money will be transferred.

2) To serve as the guardian of this money because i am too young to drive alone this amount of money and i do not know anything about transfer of fund.

On the other hand, I am ready to offer 20% of the sum as compensation for your efforts and your noble assistance after the successful transfer of this fund and i wish to continue my studies in your country.

Please contact me as soon as possible.

Looking forward to read from you.

Thank you and God bless.
Best Regards
Richard Habib.
