"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: FEDEX DIPLOMATIC COURIER AGENCY

Dear Friend,

I wish to inform you that I have cashed your winning prize Cashier Cheque, valued 6.5Million,and have

packaged it with the FEDEX Diplomatic Official for the immediate delivery to your Country, as i did

not hear from you for some couple of time ,moreover I was informed by the issued Bank,

Intercontinental Bank of Nigeria, that the Cheque will get to expire before getting to you, therefore

I directed the Bank to cash the Cheque.

However all the necessary arrangement for delivering the $6.5Millon in cash to you has been finalized

with the FEDEX Diplomatic Official. Mr. Duane Priest.

Therefore you are to contact the FEDEX Diplomatic Company with the following information stated below.

And also re-confirm your delivering Address and telephone number to them to enable them contact you as

soon as they arrived your Country Airport with your Consignment Box.

Note, I have paid for the delivery fee, therefore the only fee that you have to send to the FEDEX

Diplomatic Official is the sum of $375 only, for an official YELLOW TAG, in order to avoid 100%

Inspection on the Consignment Box, by the Customs at the Airport, therefore you are to confirm from

Mr. Duane Priest on how the said $375 for the YELLOW TAG will be send to them.

Also for Security purposes, you must not let the FEDEX Diplomatic Official Mr. Duane Priest to know

that the Consignment Box contained some Fund, as it is only you and I knows that the Consignment Box
